Facilitating Dialogue About the Coronavirus Among Students

This is a guide written by a fifth grade teacher that will help you engage in a conversation with children about the Coronavirus.  It is very important to give children the opportunity to talk about their fears and gather facts about critical issues such as the COVID-19 which has caused them to learn from home and be distanced from their school mates and their friends.  Using tried and true strategies developed in the STAT (Students Taking Action Together) Program will help students develop the skills to be able to cope with their fears and concerns.
